.....back from a brisk 5km walk.....so getting a little sweaty, nice warm day.......
She was super embarrassed, it was funny......as we were almost back home another couple were out for a walk, posh girl, dripping in brand name exercise gear (.......normally what my girl looks like to be fair......) .........and here she is with chocolate sauce squishing out the toes of her old thrashed yard work sneakers!!
God I love that JB will wear any of her boots, heels, or runners with anything you put in them! how about a whole bag of marshmallows as a nice soft insole cushion in JB’s boots, heels or runners:)).....there’s a challenge jb or would you prefer a whole bag of salt & vinegar chips in ya shoes instead??
Mid afternoon she kicked her sneakers off and slid her sticky feet into her new wellies for the rest of the day.
Kicked off her old sneakers and threw them out onto the driveway in the sun to 'dry out a bit'.....asked if I need to clean them out and she's like 'nah, they're only my knocking around here sneakers.....they'll just get dirt and stuff in them again'......
So there they sit, seasoned for the next few months........
Wellies eventually came off late afternoon and I cleaned her gooy feet up.........so early-mid morn sneakers went on and late afternoon wellies came off..........she put in the 'messy yards' for you guys ........ including the neighbors seeing her in those sneakers!!!.....much to her disgust
The lawn clippings in her sneakers and the talc and icing sugar I'd been pouring into her wellies actually did a pretty good job of soaking the mess up as you can see.
She had been slipping and sliding a bit when we walked in her sneakers......decent brisk walk so I think her feet were quite relieved when they eventually came off.........not a peep out of her in her wellies for the afternoon though, happy as!!
She asked if I could clean her new wellies out as she had had dirty feet inside them...........didnt actually clean them, just dumped more talc into them and shook it around.........she glanced into them as she was moving them and said 'oh you cleaned my boots out, thanks babe'
