Were Shox as popular back then as Air Maxes are today?

Lol I was pretty young when Shox were being sold in the 2000s and stuff so I cant really remember but I’m kinda curious. Were they as popular as Air Maxes are today? It seems like every athletic/pretty girl owns a pair of 270s, Vapormaxes or 97s and wears them casually or to the gym. I see it a lot on Instagram. Funnily enough, I do remember my aunts owning a pair of Shox and now one of them has a pair of 270s.

Not AS popular, some people thought they were ugly but a lot of people did own some, but for sure not to the extent of air maxes. I'm not sure about adults at that time, but middle and high schoolers had them

It’s a shame Shox aren’t around anymore. They were the best thing to grace a women’s feet... I think they’re responsible for the rise of groups like this one

Airmax is more popular than shox. Im a bigger fan of Shox they where very popular until about 2015 pr 2017 more or less. Now they're very limited even in 2020
