Friend's Keds

A friend of mine that i dont see as much as i used to but we manage to hang out atleast once or twice a month. Last spring we were out picking up some fencing material for her yard and i was with her when she later went shoe shopping at sears and picked up these keds. She wore them alot last summer and with socks as far as i know. Well the other day i stopped by to see her for a while before i had to go to work. The good news was that she was wearing her keds but the sad news was that she had bad intentions towards them. They were not going shopping or going to hang out with friends. Those days sadly are over for these poor shoes. I notices she was wearing them barefoot which with her is a bad sign. Socks = she cares about the shoes. No socks = shoes she does not care about....

Thank you. Sadly i dont have much to post about this days but now and then i get lucky. As far as the keds go i hope they're still there the next time i get a chance to visit but a doubt it.

I was out at her house earlier this week to help her pull up and replace some carpet. She was barefoot so no shoes to watch but when she left to go get taco bell for lunch, i scoured the house dor her keds. I looked inside and outside. In the garage in the spot beside the steps where she keeps her yard shoes all i found was a pair of newish crocks. No keds. Sadly its safe to assume that she killed them. I noticed alot of new fresh flower beds in her yard and the crocks didnt look dirty enough to have done it all so she likely ruined the keds putting in all those new flowers. R.i.p keds... though im sure they suffered alot in their final hours, atleast its over now and theyve gone to the golden closet in the sky. Lol

Thanks man. The one good thing about smart phones. In this day and age you can whip it out without warning and start playing on it and nobody gives it a 2nd thought.
