Are you having any luck on eBay?

Post by lefrenchguy »

Hey all,

So, I've bought quite a few pairs of well worn high heels off eBay in the past few months. Usually, i'll ask the seller if the heels are smelly and always get back an answer along the lines of 'oh yes, they are', only to be really disappointed when the heels land on my door step.
Yep, toe prints are there, the soles are often discolored, but dang, there is never _ever_ any smell.

I got lucky only once with a pair of cabin crew heels that had an incredible pungent smell (now lost unfortunately).

Have you guys had more luck with eBay UK?

In US here! But I have found the same thing too. I'm not into heels myself but the only shoes that I have purchased recently that have odor to them are a pair of TOMs and a pair of Sperry boatshoes. I think it's the fact that the insoles are leather which retain the scent better? Not sure. Hope you have better luck soon.

On a side note, there are a few sellers recently that must be a group of girls that are selling assorted styles of footwear (flats, flipflops, sandals, heels) that are advertised as well worn. But you can tell that the shoes are pretty new and all they have done is gotten their feet dirty and put their feet into the shoes. A to. Of shoes with a lot of dirt inside them but I doubt they're really well worn. Buyer beware.

Yes I've always been leary of this too. I think some chicks pick up shoes at the thrift shops for real cheap, claim them as "their own well worn and smelly" and sell them off that way.

Demand proper wear and documentation!!

I'll be posting this flats up shortly and boy do the insides smell like death!
But i guess if you love feet then they'll smell like heaven!
They make my feet stink when I take them off lol so I don't wear them to work anymore

Email directly if you'd like to buy them: [email protected]
My shoes are not cheap but I promise that they do smell like feet (and terribly so!!!)

^Those stripper heels probably smell. They usually have a suede insole which is really good at retaining any scent.
