We are under a burn ban until we get some substantial rainfall. Found out that we have a firehouse literally 2 blocks over from our place, so the ladies and I have postponed any further burning parties until the drought index here lowers, which sucks, but don't want to risk getting in BIG trouble.

I know the feeling, under burn bans here in Texas too. I have been converting some of my old vhs tapes and adding them to youtube.

We DO NOT have a burn ban here, but I do not have a fireplace to burn shoes.

So I'm hoping to work something out with local shoe people.

It's a small burden to bear, compared to mother nature's creatures and for those that live of the land, like farmers. Over here in the Netherlands it's also been an exceptional dry spring. The month of May this year has been the sunniest May month since records began.

Yes, the ladies and myself are just waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler outside. It is too stinkin' hot to burn anything yet.
Lots of rain here lately, so they better not have a burn ban this winter!
