anyone living in JAPAN - please help!

Hi, especially to those living in Japan I have an idea that came to me overnight.

My partner and I are currently having a long distance relationship due to her job being in Japan. As a result, I am now no longer enjoying the benefits that I used to enjoy living together with her.
