(The old thread seems to have gone with the restart. I'll start from scratch.)
For many years now, whenever the opportunity arises, I have been taking street shots of boots in everyday life. (That's what I'm really into. Trainers, sandals, sneakers, pumps, socks or just feet aren't really my thing.) Everyday life means: on the street, on public transport, on escalators, in public buildings, shops, etc. The following applies:

For many years now, whenever the opportunity arises, I have been taking street shots of boots in everyday life. (That's what I'm really into. Trainers, sandals, sneakers, pumps, socks or just feet aren't really my thing.) Everyday life means: on the street, on public transport, on escalators, in public buildings, shops, etc. The following applies:
- All photos are taken by me, there are no reposts from other sources.
- Photos are always from the sole to the top of the shaft, only very occasionally perhaps slightly higher.
- Images are completely anonymous. No faces, no heads, no full bodies.
- Overall, the following applies in terms of ‘style’:
- I prefer leather to other materials, and here I prefer smooth leather to suede, for example. Patent leather is also great.
- I prefer longer shafts, so it's mainly about knee-high, thigh-high or crotch-high.
- That doesn't rule out ankle boots, but the longer ones are naturally less common in everyday life. Most of the time, it will be knee-high.
- I have no preference regarding heel height.
- I like flat soles just as much as heels, but when it comes to heels, I prefer block heels to stilettos.
- I prefer laced or buckled boots to others.
- I like black the most.
- I have a particular fondness for heavy, ‘brutal’ boot styles such as military, ranger, biker or Dr Martens boots with 10 to 30 eyelets, especially when worn by smaller, particularly petite women (or pressed between my legs or into my face).
- Riding boots also have a bonus.
