Shoesession

I’ve been seeing a lot of Chinese accounts on Twitter where these men go to apartment buildings and finding shoe cabinets outside the door of more or less each house. And these shoe cabinets don’t just have ugly shoes. A lot of them have really expensive high heels. I’m talking Loubs, YSL, Jimmy Choo, etc.

I live in California now and I know for a fact that Asian people don’t wear “outdoor” shoes inside the house because I have a buddy who is from China and I have to take my shoes off outside when I visit him.

I’m not really into the idea of looking for shoes outside peoples houses like those Twitter accounts but it does make it super easy for scenarios like wanting to play with friends/colleagues’ heels. It would’ve been so much easier for scenarios like the time I wanted to play with my ex-roommate’s hot gf’s heels when she used to visit us.

So I was wondering which countries or places around the world have this tradition of leaving shoes outside?

So what happens in the videos? Do they steal the shoes?

In Australia, at least where I live, there's more and more people doing this. It's bloody heaven

My next door neighbors used to do this where I grew up. Mom and two daughters left all their shoes outside on the front porch, even their Sunday best dress shoes. I borrowed those shoes so many times growing up.
