Are teen shoes any different to any other women's fashion shoes? I mean do ladies stop wearing a type of shoe when they change from 19 to 20?

Where I live I think ladies wear pretty much the same be they 18 or 28. The fashion does not alter until they get into more middle age so I am interested to know to what type of shoes you mean by teen shoes and if this relates to a specific part of the world or even is it a brand name of which I am not familiar?
