Shoesession

Why isnt there a shoesession app, has anyone thought about ever making one?

We have a Discord that you can join. That's about as close to an app that you'll get.

Shoesession has been around a long time, and it still relies mostly on phpBB. It's not optimized for smart phones or other devices. Also, the web site could be improved in many ways people expect these days, support for hashtags, mentions, video, photo streams, responsive styling. The things we get with other platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. That would be a daunting task to replicate. It would probably require a new database in addition to a new web site. Anyone can set up phpBB in a couple hours, but a new web site could take months. It would be worth it in the long run, but considering this site is free to use and ad-free, it's still a good deal for us.

Even if I had time to make an app, do the app stores allow adult content?

Can you make a poll about yes for ads (to improve the site and trafficking) or no for no ads? It will piss some off, but this site can be improved and be more accessible to more foreign languages.

And to answer that question, I don't think you can for IOS. Cause the security is ridiculous. But for Android users, ez pez

But the Discord community is pretty nice. So I wouldn't really waste time on making an app...
