Boots are always worn with the jeans in. Otherwise it unnecesery to wear boots. It kills the effect

They should only be over if they’re boot cut/wide leg. Definitely not slimmer jeans.

Both can be nice. I like it when girls wear jeans that are too long for them so they have to wear like 6" heels with them and the jeans cover the shoes quite a bit, so you don't know if they are wearing pumps or boots until they sit down and the jeans ride up a bit - then you see they are wearing some sexy boots and you know shes a boot girl underneath
