Shoesession

So I buy new shoes but, as for most of us, they are not as enjoyable as worn pairs. Anyone have any tips about wearing out shoes? Especially how to give them a nice smell. They are too small to wear myself, and I'm mostly talking about sneakers, but any tips are welcome. I know they won't be as nice as actually worn shoes but I take what I can get.
