Are these the style of loafers that you are referring to? The ones that were in fashion in the 90s?

They're back in style and no one seems to care, the penny loafers, the smoking slippers, the weejuns with the tassles, all great.

I'll re-post what i wrote before the site crashed or whatever happened that deleted recent posts.
A lady i work with has a pair of loafers like the pics and i wish i could get my hands on them. I have worked with her for two years and in that time I've never seen her wear a different pair of shoes to work. I have seen that she wears them without socks during the summer. i have also been told that shes had the same pair of work shoes for 4-5 years at least. She rotates through a handfull of work outfits so id bet shes not going to buy new shoes until these totally fall apart. I can only imagine how fucking amazing these loafers must smell. I would give anything to bury my nose in them and inhale deeply while i stroke one out. they must be so smelly its inane.
