So I just secretly bought myself a pair of knee high converse. (Male from a conservative household) however, they are way to clean. Sadly i can't wear them often, so I was wondering if you guys knew some tricks or ways I could get them extremely dirty like with food or other things. Thanks.

Depends on if you want them to survive! Chucks are very hardy sneakers - you can hit them will all sorts of stuff then throw them in the washing machine and they come back good as new.

I want them to survive. Just look dirty and worn like they should be.

I'd suggest wearing them in mud then letting it dry on. Should brush off when dry. Never done it before tho.

I wish I could sink them in mud, but I'm looking for ways with typical household goods, which I can do in a private room or bathroom.

Do you have a wood/coal fire? You could use that ashes?

Sadly no. I'm probably going to use food and also stain them as a true converse fetishist. I would send a picture of them but the file size is to big when I try to use my phone

Well if you want to stain them, use tomato based stuff like tomato paste or pasta sauce. The chocolate sauce that goes hard on contact with ice cream is good if you leave it on there for a while

I'll probably try out the chocolate sauce with a older pair like my white converse to see if I get the effect I like. I've always wanted to crush a pizza with my converse so I might do that for the tomato based

Also I have a pair of white low tops that are quiet old and I want to abuse. I'm willing to do anything to them cept cut em up or burn them cause i still want to wear em again. But I'd love some creative input and ideas
