I've always known I've had a thing for women's shoes, I can remember being very young and liking the girls who wore white lace up go-go boots. My first love/fetish has always been women's watches. I like to look, and also to wear to see what the woman "gets" from wearing them. I like leather straps, which lead me to strapping it to her ankle, which made me realize; I still like high heels. Particularly ankle strap heels. My new problem is that I've liked to look, and yesterday I realized I'd like to wear. I don't think I'd be going to experience on them, but I would like to experience IN them.
My Mrs. (who knows and participates with the watches) likes shoes to some degree. I looked into her collection; while she doesn't have the style I like she has some that are closer. She wears a 9-9 1/2, and has a 10 or two. The pair that's the closest to my interest is a size 10. I wear a US mens 10 1/2, the size 10 heels are a tight fit, but manageable. I'd like to buy myself a pair of heels that are close to my ideal and see how it goes. Does anyone have and suggestions for sizeing? I figure an 11 may do, but I could get by with a 10. Is tight a good thing?
I like the single strap, but I see a more rare breed out there; double, triple, even quadruple strap. Like women wearing multiple watches, multiple strap heels are something I'd really like to experience. Looking around I see that even single straps are on the rare side. Its kinda exciting; like a boob guy discovering that he can go buy and wear Pamela Anderson's breasts whenever he likes.
HI rartist. Usually when going from a men's size to a women's size you add from 1 whole size to 1 and a half so you would probably wear an 11.5-12. I know this is larger than you were talking about but a few things have to be taken in to account when considering shoe sizing, especially women's.
Usually the more expensive and thus nicer, better brands of women's shoes run larger. This is thought to be because women like to buy smaller size shoes. They have been told for years that smaller feet are prettier feet and more feminine feet. So if they spend more money not only do they get a better quality of shoe, they get to buy a smaller shoe and that makes them feel better about themselves. Women's clothes pretty much follow the same rules
In case anybody reading this thinks this is sexist let me offer that men's clothes do much the same thing except in reverse. I'm sure lots of us have noticed that the more expensive the clothes the larger the size that you must buy. Men like to feel they are bigger and stronger. I know this isn't always true in either case but it tends to be that way.

So anyway... If you are planning on buying some fetish or stripper shoes they will run smaller and you will probably have to buy a little bit larger size. It's very hard to find half sizes in women's shoes above a size 10 so I think you will have to go with a 12.
Thanks for the good info, I will put it to use. Buying heels will be a new experience for me; and I expect that I would get an even weirder look for trying on women's shoes over trying on women's watches. Going around shoe stores looking at heels will probably single me out too. What's depressing is I've been looking around some of the local retail .com's to see their shoes, and so far a simple ankle strap heel seems a rather hard find.
Are there any retails that are especially good to check out? I am thinking about Off Broadway Shoes. For the moment I'm going to go visit some of the local stores to see what's available.
I couldn't wait, and went shoe shopping last night to try to find something I like. I looked several places around the mall, feeling a bit self conscious looking at the details to find a pair I wanted. Almost right away I found a pair of black double ankle strap closed toe heels that I like (tho they do have a little bit of a platform that I could otherwise do without). They had a number of sizes available, I went with an 11. The eleven's are actually slightly loose on me, I'm considering exchanging them for 10's, if that would make them more snug. I do like the feel of the straps around my ankles, I'm going to "enjoy" wearing these. I'm already dreaming of my next pair, more ankle straps with either a peep toe or a pointed toe; perhaps D'orsay. I just wish it wasn't so obvious, I guy buying high heels.
