A couple of years ago a friend of my then-gf was offered to work at a car expo. I think that the car company she represented provided the dresses for the girls, but not the shoes, and the instructions were that they must wear high heels. So, my gf of the time decided to help by landing her a pair. One of the rare occasions my gf let another girl wear her heels! She decided to give her one of her oldest pairs - black pointy heels, 12 cm high, all leather... The shoes were well worn, but there wasn't not much of a smell to them. Well, that wasn't the case when her friend returned them! The girl wore them 4 or 5 days in a row, morning till evening each day. Barefoot each time, on average 12 hours per day! Because of that car-expo she stayed at my gf's place for few days, and my gf told me that when she would come back, her feet would be swollen, she would ask for a foot massage and would prop her legs up against a wall each night before going to bed... Anyhow, when everything was said and done, my gf's heels had acquired a personality… They had become so smelly - there was this sour and salty stench to them, foot prints and sweat stains all over the insides…
Unfortunately, being the jealous type and knowing how excited I got over this girl's smelly feet, my ex did not let me take any pictures of her trashed heels, and cleaned the marked insoles with alcohol and what not...
But the fond memory remains. Each time I see girls in high heels and a painful face at an expo, you know what comes to my mind...
