GF getting rid of her old shoes....how should I get them?

My GF mentioned that she was going to go shoe shopping for new work shoes and was going to get rid of her old shoes. What should I tell her to try to get them from her before she trashes them? You know without making it seem weird about getting her shoes for my purpose.

I was thinking of using the excuse that I could donate them to charity if she gives them to me. How does that sound? Any other excuses I could use?

If the charity dodge will work use it. Or you can just tell her you want them for an art project.

The art project one probaply doesn't work on girlfriends because thei'd like to see the project if they buy it!

My honest oppinion: If she doesn't know about your fetish you should tell her. It's not right to keep that kind of secret from her and you're not going to be happy in the long run either lying to her to get to her shoes.

I would go with the story that a friend of yours, (she doesn't know) looks for old/wornout/... shoes for an art project. Look in the internet for a picture of any shoe art and show her this and tell her that your friend wants to do a similar thing.

The easiest way would be to gather up a load of old clutter from your garage or wherever, and say you're going to the tip. Ask if she wants anything taking (mention the subject of shoes somehow beforehand) and you might get lucky.

Frank I agree with you on this about the charity thing...I was thinking along the same lines that she will probably tell me they are not even donation worthy.

I can have access to her trash but I wouldn't know when she will put them out in the trash. I'll have to figure out a way of finding out if and when she throws them away.

I'm not too sure about the shoe art project thing.

I'll definitely keep u all posted. And if I'm lucky enough to get my hands on those worn out shoes then I will be sure to share the pics with you all!

Tell her that your friend sold some well worn shoes on Ebay and that the buyer asked if he could get hold of anymore!
