Personally I'd put them on and walk on soft grass with them so the heels sink and I'd get a thick layer of grassy mud built up around the tops of the heels. Then I'd go and find some real deep, sucky mud and struggle through it in them, hopefully getting really stuck from time to time. After that I'd clean them and go back and do it all again!
