Thrift shop heels

Post by brokenheel »

Since I am away on business I decided to have some fun and went to a nearby thrift shop to find some heels. Got these two pair for 6.50. The non patent pair is a vintage 80s pump just like a couple pair that my aunt has. See my last post titled aunts shoes. And just like a couple pair of my aunts heels when I abused them they literally started falling apart because of the age and level of wear. The black stuff in the sink is only part of the "shoe dust" from the abuse
I tried to break the heels off of all 4 shoes with little advil so I ripped apart one pair of the patent shoes and I will throw it and its mate onto the highway tonight to see what happens.

They look just like my aunts heels in these pictures. The Connie's in the pink box on the right are a pair of her old heels that when I abused and folded the toe the leather fell off ruining the shoe. I just placed it back in the box. I don't think she has worn it since and that was about 4 years ago.

Actually I shoved a knife through the side of the Nine Wests in this picture. The way the shoe is made if she noticed she would just think the shoe is coming apart.

Thanks, watching 80s heels die was like seeing a vintage car getting crushed in a junkyard
