Sadly, my GF passed away in April. She was only 48. It was a freakish incident - she had no medical symptoms, but died of a pulmonary embolism, a condition that affects 1 out of 15,000 people at her age. All I have left are her boots and the memories. I plan on keeping most of them as a reminder of the great 8 years we spent together.

I'm hanging onto them for now. I made a little shrine to my GF in my bedroom. It helps me keep the memories of the good times we had together.
