I’ve spent the last week wearing them everywhere and already my left one is like a mule! The leather has stretched so the strap around my smaller left foot keeps slipping down.

Just got back to my car after a trip to the shops where my
left strap fell down several times. Several people looked down at my flopping left sandal that was slapping like a flip flop.

I know this feeling when people are looking at my shoes I like it.
Maybe because those avarcas are not famous out of Spain. You can see many people wearing them everyday in Spain and sure you can see back straps down anywhere you go.

I’ve seen quite a few women wear these over here in Australia, but it’s probably unusual to see a guy wearing them here. Plus my left sandal was flopping quite loosely haha. It was making a bit of noise when the strap fell off my heel!

One of my the best feelings for me is feeling the leather on your shoes stretch. I’ve had these a week now and I can feel the leather in these softening. My left strap is becoming harder and harder to keep up. But that’s cool, I just wear it like a mule until I can flick it back up again!

Having a few oops moments this morning! One strap up and one down quite a lot.

Last year in Mallorca there were a lot of men wearing avarcas with straps down or very low on the back. I even took videos just for fun. Men are very good in heelpopping btw

That leather, feels so good. Even with the slippage.

Love that loose feeling.
