You ever get strange look or suspicious remarks when buying shoes from the thrift store? Or is it looked at as normal (or no reaction at all) since you might be buying for a lover/relative/friend?

The first time I did get some stares. But I made sure to stop by the shop often to buy various other things that I need (I do live action roleplay and also work with cosplay), so I've noticed that now the employees don't react anymore when I buy a big bag of whatever it is. Oh, and it also helps to be friendly to them.
