Shoesession

Update on the canvas black keds. Worn barefoot as they always have been. They stink. There's a fair amount of foot grime build up inside them. There should be more but alot of it sticks to her feet after she takes them off. Today she texts me a picture. She was going to wear them to work today but the shoelace broke on the left one so she kicked them off and wore the leather ones. I stopped by her house today after work. She was not home. I went in and snuck a few pictures. She says she may just buy new laces for them but she's not sure yet. "They are kinda old and stinky so they may end up gardening and lawn mowing shoes" is what she said.

Yeah. Just goes to show how hard they get worked when they are worn. They've never seen socks and we all know that shoes worn barefoot take a much worse beating than shoes worn with socks.

At least the new blue insoles don't get completely wrecked like the old terry cloth insoles

She sent me these pics today. Saying that new laces will probably never happen so this is how they're going to worn now. She also informed me that she can now smell them while she's wearing them. Without laces, the shoe allows the stink to flow more openly out of the shoes. She also admits that she caught her self dipping in them today while at the store. They slip easily on and off now.

Happening right now. Shes going to be working in the yard all day... gardening, mowing, etc. These are the shoes she chose. I'm not really happy about it because they are going to get wet and muddy and that will likely wash out all the stink. Right now they stink heavily like feet but by the end of the day that foot smell will be gone and replaced with the smell of mud and dirt.

She got a little irritated at me always paying attention to her keds when I was supposed to be helping. I couldn't help it. I kept telling her to watch her step. She kept telling me that she didn't care about the shoes but unfortunately I did. She decided to go change shoes so that I wouldnt be so distracted.
