I wish we could get good rain boots in the US. My niece ordered some pink ones that turned out to be made in China and smelled like gasoline. Some fetish boots made from synthetic materials are the same, smelling like a well-known tool store. All of this toxic rubbish makes me hate free trade!

So I bought my girl a new pair of wellies some time ago........and promised to leave them empty inside.......so she had a 'clean pair' to slip into.

I've pretty much stuck to this................well......sort of.....

Discovered a handy use for her new boots, as they are on the way to the glass recycling.......lots of guys/gals seem to leave the last swig out of a beer in the bottle.......so as not to mess up the recycling I have taken to using my girls boots to empty into on the way!!

........all in the name of recycling of course
