Shoesession

Some how, they are still in service. Most women I've known would have thrown them away by now. She says just doesn't pay any attention. In her words... "They're house slippers. Theyre not worn for looks or fashion so as long as they are in relatively one peice and stay on my feet, I don't notice what condition they are in. I just slip them on and go. I think this is how I've always worn slippers. Just keep on wearing them until they rip apart or become physically unwearable"
So it's safe to assume that no mercy will be shown to these slippers... these slaves. They will serve their master until they are worked to death.

Man those slippers are in bad shape! Any updates on them?

With work and what not, I havent been over to her place much lately. I'm assuming and hoping that if they got killed and or thrown away, she would have told me so I think they're still around. I'll swing by there soon and sneak some pictures of them.

The pics were taken about an hour ago. They continue to deteriorate but still hanging on. They've come close to death a few times she has told me. Her daughter came over and wanted to go to the grocery store. It had been raining all day. Her shoes were upstairs so she semi consciously put the slippers on with every intention of sacrificing them. She admits that she knew wearing them in the rain and puddles would finish them off and she didnt care. It was easier to sacrifice her slippers than go all the way upstairs for shoes. Luckily her daughter stepped in and wouldn't be seen in public with those "ratty things". She also told me about Friday morning... she keeps her trash on the back porch. Usually she just carries it through the house to the front yard on trash day. It was really stinky trash and was dripping so she was going to carry it around the side of the house which was very soggy and muddy. Once again she admits she was more than willing to sacrifice these slippers. Luck intervened again... she went inside to gather up more trash and ended up getting dressed too which included shoes. I think that if these slippers dont die on their own very soon... she's going to kill them on purpose just to use them up.

I’m seriously surprised they haven’t been tossed yet! I know it’s been brought up before, I know you/she won’t sell them so I’m not hinting at that, but man would I love to have a super trashed pair of slippers like that! I just hope that when she does throw them out, you wind up with pics of it.

Just an update. They're still in service but I'm not sure for how much longer. Taking these pictures was actually her idea. Said she almost threw them away the other day. They kept tripping her while she was cleaning. Says they could go at any time and that I need to be prepared for them to disappear. Soon one of these days when I come visit... she will have new slippers on her feet and these are going to be gone.

God, what I would do to get my hands on a trashed pair like that so hot.

I'm going to try and update as much as I can because I fear that their story's end is right around the corner. I haven't been over to her place in a few days. She texted me and sent pictures to keep me updated. Says when her kids visit they tease her about her ratty slippers. Says that she's about ready to dispose of them. She also informed me that she stepped in/on somthing gross so they have spent the last few days and nights outside on the porch. Says that might be where they are going to spend the rest of their short life. It is possible that they will never see the inside of the house again. They're still good for checking the mail and taking out the trash. Until one day soon they ARE trash.

Definitely got her $5 worth out of them.
