I just looked at those boots again and the label says - d'Rossana by Charna. I googled that and did get some hits, none like our boots but some flickr site had a cream pair. I am not sure where she got those, this is way back in the 80's back when we got the Chantal's and also a couple pairs of Nina's that look like them.
Those boots were all purchased in the 80's and I know the Nina's were at a store called Gantos and the Chantal's were Nortdstroms. The wife had the D'Rossana before we hooked up and she does not remember the store where she got them.

I keep a spreadsheet of all the boots I buy and since that post in 2010 I have purchased over 40 more pairs with a total of over 100 now. All are leather except one pair of Aigle knee rubber riding rain boots that actually look like leather. All are knee high or higher and sorry but no Wedge heel, just not my thing. All of them are fashion boots with very little to no "bling", just stylish and she gets compliments all the time even from strangers. Our latest pair that just came in the mail yesterday from Nordstrom's Rack are DV Dolce Vita style indygo. Just something about them caught my eye, they are sexy and tough looking at the same time. Here are some pix from the net of them for we still have not even removed all the packing material on ours yet.

Very, very beatiful collection! Does she never throw any boots out? What size are they?
I really like the boots with shiny black leather and brown tops from one of the photos from 2010. They already look worn on that picture, spo they must be worn out by now? Remember the brand?
I just looked at them and there is not a single word or number on them so I do not know what brand they are. Those were from the late 70's...okay I am showing my age. I figured I'd take a pic for you to show they have a nice soft leather lining as well. So since I was going to take a pic I threw in a few more. All those boots are what the wife calls "out of the rotation" She has a few newer black and tan's so all those and a lot more are stored in containers on a shelf in my work shop. She will not part with them though and every now and again surprises me and pulls a pair out. We also have several pairs in containers that need tending to, like new heel caps and waiting for a good polishing.
We have a nice pair of OTK Zodiac's and the lining has that tacky dust feeling which really sucks for I loved those boots and everything else about them are in brand new condition so they are out of the rotation as well.
She did try on the new ones we just got and they are keepers.

Okay I opened up another bin and you can see the Zodiac's. I had room so I grabbed those OTK with the fur lining and low heel that were just worn for those are one of the wife's favorite to wear running errands when it is cold and snowy out. The red and grey need heel caps.

could you tell me what the brand name is of those OTK boots with the fur and low heel that you mentioned your wife likes to wear for errands? Also any chance of getting more pics of them?
