Shoesession

Since the black slippers died, the grey slippers have gone back into service. She went to stay for a few days at her daughter's house and took these with her. She couldn't send many pictures because she was usually busy and there were people around. She did tell me that they are in a bit of danger when they are there. Her daughter likes them and has been trying to steal them. Her daughter is a true shoe killer. She absolutely massacres every shoe and slipper she owns. Slippers get trashed the hardest and usually only last for about 2 or 3 months before she kills them or the dog eats them. If she gets ahold of these slippers they will get destroyed and end up as a pile of dog poo in the back yard for sure.

They are back home safe and sound but she says that they will be going with her again next time she goes to stay at her daughter's house. They will face danger again.

There's been some activity. I just didnt think anyone was interested or following this thread anymore so I stopped updating it

I'm afraid not. These posts are just for sharing a story and anyone who might enjoy it. I've tried the selling thing and it's nothing but hassles and just isnt worth it.

Would love to see/read some updates on her slippers. Is she still wearing the grey ones? Did you have any chance t spend some times with one of her pairs recently?

Yeah, she's been wearing the grey ones alot. Hasn't been too abusive towards them yet but hasn't been nice to them either. Wore them the other day taking the trash out. Walled around the house through freshly mowed grass and then walked all the way back. Also, yes I have spent some time with them and left a stain in on of them. I'll post updates here in the next couple of days

It happen suddenly so I didnt have a chance to document the occurrence. She keep her trash on the back porch and then takes it out front on trash day. On this day she grabbed the bags of trash but instead of walking through the house...she walked all the way around through the yard which had been recently mowed. She then walked all the way back around again. I told her that wasnt a good idea in slippers because of the risks. Mud, dog poop, dirt, etc. She said she didnt even think about that but says she still doesnt care... "they're just slippers". She admitted that she's done it before and will do it again. She knows I really like this pair so she warned me that because of how easy on/off they are... they are going to get abused more and get put in danger more than other slippers. She says i need to be prepared because bad thing ARE going to happen to these slippers.
