If I were to try and answer the question but replace it with my own fetish (heels i.e. stilettos, boots) I would say this: it's about multiple things combined, not any one thing. The sexy lines and curvature of the shoe alone isn't enough, that's why I like them to be previously worn and owned, preferably by an attractive woman. knowing that she has worn them, and that the smell is now a truly unique combination of foot odour, sweat, and the normal fragrances of a high heel is part of the attraction. Just fucking something she's worn before is part of the attraction, and I think most of us have that in common. Another part of it, I think for me at least, is the psychology of it. I know that when a woman chooses to wear a high heel instead of a flat she knows she's being more sexy than cute. In my head, I tell myself that when a woman wears a high heel she wants to feel sexy, and that in itself is a turn on for me (note: this may not always be true, but that's part of the logic of my fetish. Female members, maybe you could shed some insight here?). Even just the noise they make clicking down the pavement. All those things combined are what I describe as my fetish, and it makes me want to cum in heels, want shoejobs, want to have sex with her whilst she leaves her heels on, etc.

If I were to speculate as towards the sneaker situation, I would say for many it must be primarily about the smell. The smell is definitely MUCH stronger in sneakers/runners. It may also have something to do with the casual nature of them? i.e. they get worn everyday, and not generally thought of as sexy, but to you, it is a turn on, and knowing that must feel a bit like you know something no "standard" girl would ever figure of their runners.
