I'm also glad I didn't get caught, of course :P

Now I'm hoping to fly out soon, but no plans though.

About the airline, it's a Mexican one.

I'll post another of my stories during vacations a few years ago in another post (no pics though, sorry.)

Check it out.

Amazing story :D

But I got to ask, did it come across your mind to keep the shoe for yourself? ;) I bet I would've kept it, even if it was risky

It did, BUT I've had time to think about it and I just don't think stealing is cool. Not for kicks.

It was tempting though, and probably it would've created some sort of in-flight investigation... I would've seemed like the likeliest suspect.

Plus if I steal a shoe today, tomorrow they might get harder to come by.

Unfortunately with the new aircraft types, cabin crew these days tend to store their high heels in some lockers in or near the galley instead of leaving their shoes unattended behind the last row, which is easier to locate and get. Also, part of the reason I suspect is it must by now be a fairly common knowledge shared among the cabin crew that some guys like us are looking for their shoes during the flight. Maybe they would rather sell them on internet than letting us have a good time at 30,000 ft for free.
