But how can one really be sure those are the exact shoes worn by a certain celebrity in some movie?
Those Angelina Jolie heels for example, look a bit worn - do you think she got them worn out during the shooting of that one movie? Where have the shoes been since 2006 (when the movie was made)?

I've put a good deal of research in it. Firstly, you can look at the reputation of the Ebay seller. That goes alot towards whether you can trust them. Have they sold alot of wardrobe items? Do they have any complaints, etc?
Secondly, watch the movie. If your really interested in these shoes find out if she did indeed wear them.
Thirdly, alot of these items are bought from Movie sets and studios and they change various hands. That explains why a 2006 piece may end up on ebay because previously it could have been sold privately or the celebrity decided to finally sell them to a prop/wardrobe dealership.
