(please ignore my scars, it's ridiculous how dangerous it can be working in a grocery store)
I'd do ground-level shots if I could figure out how with a smartphone. Candide's always look so professional.

Re: Obligatory "My Collection" Post
Sorry, I'm not on any social media (except here I guess). Never saw the point, hate using my phone enough already. I miss the old Motorola Razer flip phone...
Honestly I don't wear Chucks that much anymore. They were the very first shoes I really liked, and the first ones I ever bought on my own (vs parents' "back to school" annual shopping). I still like them and think they're super classic, but now I have so many other cool things too. Maybe it's just kinda boring to wear the same thing everyone else is wearing, you know? I like to stand out a bit.
But that's part of the appeal of Converse too. Everyone has them, all over the world, from kids to old folks. Very accessible, very relatable. Maybe I'm kind of a sneaker snob now. I dunno.

Re: Obligatory "My Collection" Post
I generally don't care for the show, but there was an old episode of Family Guy with a joke about a doctor named Dr. Martens, whose only prescription for every patient is to have them fitted for a pair of lesbian boots. That's kinda the way I've always thought about them. But I'd still take the classic boot over all the increasingly very weird Doc Martens fusion spin-offs available these days. Slip-on loafers, platforms, schoolgirl shoes, Velcro sneakers...all with that trademark thick lug sole. Idk, it just doesn't work for me.
Docs work best with any type of jeans that will tuck into the boot, or short enough not to cover it at all. But it's so rare to see anyone wearing true skinny jeans these days - as opposed to, like, leggings or jeggings or tights that look like denim. Everyone's into bootcut, or straight leg, or flare bottoms, or whatever. Kind of a shame. Whatever makes them happy though, shrug.
Personally I like to pair mine with all-white jeans and a white top/coat, for a complete all-white look. It's so ostentatious. Also goes well with white short shorts + white knee-high socks (soccer/schoolgirl style). Or a red buffalo check plaid skirt with same. If they were a different colour Docs, I'd probably style them differently.

Your collection is amazing. I’m a huge air max fan and shox. I think seeing a girl in 720’s is so hot. It shows confidence and they just look so sexy on... Amazing collection you have. It blows my mind.

Re: Obligatory "My Collection" Post
I don't wear socks with my houseshoes (what would be the point? you're inside). Used to go for stockings and sneakers, but ever since I moved from white-collar to blue-collar employment, I need to use real socks every day. It's for safety as much as comfort. I've heard plenty of horror stories at work about people dropping scalding hot coffee on their feet, or getting crushed by a heavy box...we aren't required to wear safety gear, but it's just being stupid not to have sturdy closed toe shoes and socks.
(Plus I do a lot of work inside walk-in refrigerators and freezers, so obviously it gets pretty cold. I've almost gotten frostbite a few times even with socks.)
No one's ever had fun with my shoe collection, at least not to my knowledge. It's actually hard to meet people who care about shoes here just in general, nevermind have a fetish. Not sure why. Even over in the Meetups forum, there aren't a lot of hits for around here. The Bay Area is very wealthy, yet people dress like they're still in highscool. I don't understand it...
The thought does turn me on some, but I haven't actually had a relationship in so long that it doesn't really matter. Not looking for that kind of one-night fun anymore. I do some someday I'll find a nice guy (or girl) who also likes shoes, but that would just be a bonus, not a requirement.

Not sure which ones you meant, so here's all of them...masuang wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:29 am can we have some more pics of your pink retro air jordans from the third pic on the bottom? thanks a lot, our lord <3
As far as I know, none of them are actually retros, since that's the first time they were released in that specific colorway...and they haven't been re-released since.
