trashing for sneakers

Post by qetufsxc »

I buy my sneakers used because I am pretty poor. I really want a brand new pair of Asics Kinsei. I am wondering if anyone would be willing to pay for video and pictures of me destroying and playing with my used sneakers. If so how should I go about it , prices, sites etc.
I have plenty of brand names even though they are used. I collected a bunch from trash cans and powerlines.
Would people here be interested in funding my new sneakers?

Hi. Are you still interested in doing a video with your old sneakers? If so, what sneakers do you have? Thanks.

Hi, how do you manage to get shoes from powerlines, because where I live there are like six pairs of really nice nike shox and asics just hanging there some of the nikes are the shox reveal model for women which look in really good condition and some men's shox nz that look in pretty good shape but would it be too risky to try to cut them with a blade attached to a long stick?

First question should be, is it a power line or a telephone line, because that makes a big difference in terms of how dangerous it is.

You really shouldn't mess with power lines, since even a small mistake there can be quite lethal. If you absolutely have to remember that you should under no circumstances be grounded or create a connection between several of the wires, so depending on high up the lines are a "long stick" might not offer you enough control to do that sort of thing safely.

Don't do it while its wet outside, try to stand on something nonconductive like plastic pallette, make sure whatever improvised tool you're using offers enough control to not be unpredictable and most of all, don't do it alone, if something does go wrong you want someone to get help right away.

This advice isn't here because I think its a good idea, it's here in case I can't convince you its a bad idea.

I am still willing to do some videos with my nikes, adidas, new balance, mizunos, sauconys, reeboks, and asics.

As for getting shoes down from powerlines it is pretty easy. Dont cut them down. Push one of the sneakers with a long stick or something so that it goes over the wire and the pair falls down. I usually use a plastic pipe, since it is light and pretty easy to maneuvre the shoe with. its easiest the longer it is. but you can always stand on a chair too.
I also tend to do it when drunk cuz then people think its less weird.
