I totally agree with you celebshoeman and vector: nothing can beat a well worn high-end shoe. I had never the chance with one fresh of the feet (except from my wife). But if the shoe warms up a bit it offers its lovely smell too - a mix of fine leather and something that is hard to describe in words. Only well maintained shoes designer shoes from ladies who take care of their feet do it for me.
