Hi, I'm in Sydney, love thongs and sandals and seeing lots around here too. I go through 'council cleanups' a free collection of larger household items held by local councils here every few months or so and find lots of shoes (amongst lots of other useful items). Search my post 'nice shoe finds in the trash'.
