I was feeling particularly mean today. I had to fire one of my employees, and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it; in fact, I felt powerful watching her get on her knees and beg to keep her job…but defy me, and you’re done. Everyone knows this. Steed is so well-trained, so very much my bitch, that he actually likes it when I’m feeling mean and exercise my supreme power over him. Then again, you would as well, wouldn’t you?
